A Basic Introduction

What we do and what you should expect

Our names are Aalok and Xander, and we talk a lot about AI, ethics, and politics. We figured that it would be good to write these down someplace. Hence, the Substack.

We wanted to lay out a few basic guidelines about what you should expect from us. Firstly, this is not our profession; we will post as often as we can, but given our schedule, that might not be regularly. To avoid creating expectations that we cannot satisfy, we won’t be guaranteeing how often we post. Secondly, we do not just appreciate feedback, but in fact, we would like it. If you have thoughts about what we’ve written, please send us a message! Thirdly, we would love to collaborate. If you’re interested in our work, send us a message and we’ll see what we can work out.
